BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

  

A Brenham man has been arrested for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop Thursday night.

At approximately 10:50 p.m., Officer Kejan Mehlhorn conducted a routine traffic stop in the 700 block of S. Market Street in Brenham. During the stop, Mehlhorn could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The driver, 21-year-old Jacob Arthur Vansteensburg, admitted to having marijuana.

Vansteensburg was arrested for possession of marijuana under 2 ounces.
