WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS STATE FUNDING TODAY
The Washington County Commissioners Court will meet today (Tuesday) to discuss the acceptance of two public assistance sub-grants. 
The sub-grants would be awarded to Washington County by the Texas Division of Emergency Management to assist with emergency response and debris removal as a result of the April 2016 storms and flooding.
The Court will also discuss an amendment to the constitution of the State of Texas. The amendment would prohibit the imposition of mandatory governmental programs on Texas counties without the State providing funding for that program.
The Washington County Commissioners Court will meet at 9 a.m. in chambers 103 in the Washington County Courthouse.
