DIME BOX BLACK BRIDGE FESTIVAL HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND
The small town of Dime Box will host a big event this weekend.
The Dime Box Black Bridge Festival and Mini Marathon will take place this Friday and Saturday. Friday’s events kick off at 3 p.m. with the check in for the BBQ Cook-off. At 5:30, KTEX’s Trail Boss Troy will provide musical entertainment as the DJ. At 6 p.m. there will be a chili and hot dog dinner. The Little Mister and Little Miss Black Bridge Pageant will also start at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m. there will be music from Elvis and a domino tournament.
Saturday will be a day full of events. According to Jan Perry, the co-chair of the festival, there will be a lot going on:
