KENJURA CONTINUES TREATMENT IN AUSTIN
Brenham businessman Atwood Kenjura continues to be treated for heart problems at an Austin hospital.
Kenjura has been at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin since collapsing from cardiac arrest Sunday morning while attending the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. He is alert and resting comfortably, but has not yet been cleared to return home. Kenjura’s doctors are still trying to determine what caused his heart to stop beating. A pace maker and defibrillator have been implanted in his chest to prevent future problems.
Kenjura is the owner of Kenjura Pharmacy in downtown Brenham, and is active on many boards including Blinn College, Baylor Scott & White Hospital and the Brenham Community Development Corporation.
