NAVASOTA TO HOLD “TREATS ON THE STREET” ON HALLOWEEN
The City of Navasota is gearing up for its annual “Treats on the Street” event next Monday.
The Navasota Police Department hosts “Treats on the Street” as a safe alternative to trick-or-treating. Last year, approximately 2,500 people showed up to take part in the festivities. Candy will be provided this year by local businesses, civic and church groups.
Again this year will be a “one way access” that will begin at Holland and LaSalle near Snowflake Donut. The route will end in the parking lot of the City Municipal Building where a costume contest will be held at 7:00 p.m. Participants will be divided into the following age categories:
0 – 3 years of age
4-year-olds – Kindergarten
1st grade – 3rd grade
4th grade – 5th grade
