BRENHAM WOMAN ELECTED PRESIDENT OF TEXAS CATTLEWOMEN

  

A Brenham woman has been elected as President of the Texas CattleWomen.

Pam Bothe was elected as the Texas CattleWomen President for 2017 at the organization’s state meeting, held in Bryan last weekend.

Bothe has been active in the Washington County CattleWomen for 32 years.  She has held both local and state offices prior to receiving the honor of representing the CattleWomen of Texas as President.   She has recently served as President of the local chapter, as well as served on the Texas CattleWomen Executive Board.

In addition to her CattleWomen activities, she has been actively involved in the Washington County Fair, where she is currently the Chairperson for the Fair Queen Committee and the Parade Committee.  She is a member of the TEEX “After 5” Extension group.  Bothe is very active at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Weideville where she is a Youth Director, Sunday School Assistant, and helps with other youth programs such as VBS and the children’s Christmas program.

Pam Bothe is the daughter of Eugene Bothe and the late Elois Bothe.  Her siblings are Roxanne Bothe Thiel, Jerry Bothe, Mike Bothe and twin brother Ronnie Bothe.  She is currently employed by Blinn College in the Admissions Department.

A come-and-go reception honoring Bothe will be held on Tuesday, November 1st between 5:15 and 7:00 p.m. at Volare Italian Restaurant. The public is invited to come by and congratulate Bothe on her latest accomplishment.
