EARLY VOTING CONTINUES TO SEE HIGH NUMBERS

  

Early voting in Washington County continues to see high numbers as 1,103 people came out to vote in person on Wednesday, bringing the three-day total to 3,527. That is just over 15% of the total number of 22,916 registered voters in Washington County,

The deadline to apply to vote by mail is tomorrow (Friday) and the application for that must be mailed back.  If someone has missed the deadline and they are unable to enter the polling place, a "curbside" vote can be conducted where officials take a ballot out to them in their car.  The “curbside” option is available on Election Day as well as during early voting.

Weekend voting will take place October 29th and 30th at the Courthouse Annex on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Sunday from 12 - 3 p.m. This is the only weekend where that option will be offered since early voting ends statewide on next Friday.
