EARLY VOTING SLOWS IN WASHINGTON COUNTY
Early voting in Washington County slowed on Monday, with 627 voters casting ballots.
The number of people voting was considerably less than last Monday, which saw a total of 1206 people vote. However, Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel says yesterday’s number is more typical of the daily turnout for a presidential election mid-way through early voting. Rothermel says she expects many more voters to come in during the end of this week.
A total of 6965 people in Washington County that have cast their ballots so far during early voting.
Early voting takes place through this week only, through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
