BLINN TO CELEBRATE 50 YEARS OF THEATRE THIS WEEKEND

  

The Blinn College-Brenham campus Theatre Arts Program, the Blinn College-Bryan theatre department, and the Division of Visual & Performing Arts will celebrate 50 years of theatre this weekend with a special performance titled “Glitter and Gold” to commemorate that milestone in Brenham.

Featuring performers from Blinn’s Brenham and Bryan campuses, “Glitter and Gold” will include song, dance, and a variety of scenes performed by current and former students and performing arts faculty. Blinn’s technical theatre arts also will be celebrated.

Shows begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, in the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students with ID.
