BRENHAM ISD HIRES NEW DIRECTOR OF CHILD OF NUTRITION

  

The Brenham Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the recommendation to hire Sandra Baxter as the new Brenham ISD Director of Child Nutrition during their meeting on Monday.

Baxter received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in Nutrition with Dietetic Internship from Texas A&M University. With 24 years of experience in school food service management, Baxter has achieved state and national recognition as a dietitian and a nutrition educator. Most recently, she has served as the School Nutrition Director in Franklin ISD. Baxter will begin her position with Brenham ISD in January 2017.

Baxter will be replacing Diana Glenz, who will be retiring next month after 28 years of service in BISD.
