KBTX FOOD FOR FAMILIES DRIVE THIS WEDNESDAY

  

The 21st annual KBTX Food for Families Food Drive is happening this Wednesday.

The food collected will go to the Brazos Valley Food Bank, which is a central distribution site that unites food donors, volunteers and hunger-relief agencies. As the hub of over 36 different agencies that feed the hungry throughout Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Madison, Robertson and Washington Counties, the Brazos Valley Food Bank is on target to distribute 6 million pounds of food by this year to over 50,000 different individuals in need.

There will be four locations that will be accepting food and monetary donations:

• The Brazos Center in Bryan from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Kimbro Center in Madisonville from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Mid-South Synergy in Navasota from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Navasota Valley Electric in Franklin from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

KTEX’s Blake will be there from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. broadcasting live at the Brazos Center.
