NAVASOTA ‘HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS’ EVENT THIS WEEKEND

  

This Saturday the city of Navasota will hold their annual “Home for the Holidays” celebration.

Event organizer Shelby Green says there is an array of activities for people to look forward to including free gift wrapping, ice skating, and a toboggan tunnel:

"Home for the Holidays" festivities begin at 12 p.m. in downtown around City Hall. The Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. KTEX’s Cactus Ken will be there in the Friendly Country Cruiser.

Following the parade, there will be a community tree lighting ceremony featuring performances by area choirs. For more information on the event, visit navasotatx.gov/events.
