SCHUBERT APPLAUDS BLINN-A&M WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAM

  

AUSTIN – Representative Leighton Schubert (R-HD13) has issued the following statement regarding an announcement by the Texas A&M University System, the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service and Blinn College outlining their partnership to meet Brazos County's growing demand for workforce training programs:

"I am pleased that Blinn College and Texas A&M have once again partnered to serve the educational and workforce needs of our region.  I am confident that combining the resources and track record of these two great institutions will be a recipe for success in fulfilling the increased need for workforce development in our state.  It has been proven time and again that when Blinn and Texas A&M work together Texas students win."

Representative Schubert represents District 13 in the Texas House of Representatives, which includes Austin, Burleson, Colorado, Fayette, Grimes, Lavaca, and Washington Counties.
