BETHLEHEM IN INDEPENDENCE HAPPENING SUNDAY AND MONDAY
The town of Independence will come to life next week with “Bethlehem in Independence”.
On Sunday and Monday, Independence Community Events (ICE) is putting on a live nativity scene. Event organizer, Jordan Clay, says they have nine churches reenacting eight different scenes:
Cowboy Santa will arrive on his fire truck both nights at 6:30. Admission to the event is free, but donations will be accepted to go towards ICE projects. The Independence Community Events organization promotes the preservation of the township of Independence through fundraisers, events, and gatherings.
“Bethlehem in Independence” is happening December 18th and 19th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Independence.
