KWHI TO FEATURE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

  

For decades KWHI has presented programs featuring Christmas music to celebrate the holiday season.

In addition to this year’s programing, 32 hours of Christmas music will play from 8 a.m. Saturday morning until 5 p.m. Christmas Day.

This year, the Christmas programs will kick off at 12:30 p.m. Christmas Eve with the Giddings Band Concert, sponsored by Siegeler Insurance Agency.

The Somerville Band Concert will begin at 1:05 p.m., sponsored by Citizens State Bank. At 1:35 p.m. the Bellville Band Concert will be featured, sponsored by First National Bank of Bellville.

The Caldwell Band Concert, sponsored by Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, will play at 2:05 p.m.

At 2:35 p.m., the Brenham High School Band Concert will be played, sponsored by Bank of Brenham and Colwell’s Chem Dry. The Brenham Middle School & Jr. High Band Concert will play at 3:05 p.m., sponsored by Emerson. At 3:35 p.m., the Brenham Schools Combined Choir Program will be featured, sponsored by Spiess Insurance

Blinn College Band Concert sponsored by Gus Mutscher will play at 4:05 p.m., followed at 4:35 p.m. by Blinn College Choir- sponsored by Mark Hyatt State Farm Insurance and Emerson.

The Brenham Banner Press Christmas Program will take place at 5:05 p.m.

At 5:35 p.m. the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church “Messiah” will be played, sponsored by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and Harvey’s Water Wells .

At 7 p.m., KWHI will air St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Christmas Eve Service.

The programming continues Christmas Day at 7 a.m. with Day One, sponsored by Kruse Memorial Lutheran Village. Salem Lutheran Church will air at 7:45 a.m.

First Baptist Church of Brenham’s Worship Choir & Orchestra sponsored by Hermann Furniture Company and Brenham Collision Center will air at

At 9:00 a.m. St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Service will be played- sponsored by
Bluebonnet Petroleum and St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

First Baptist Church of Brenham will play at 10 a.m. Searching the Scriptures,sponsored by First Baptist Church of Burton, will play at 10:30 a.m.

At 10:45 a.m. Standing in the Gap will air, followed by Fire United Methodist Church of Brenham at 11 a.m.

At 12:15 p.m. St. Mary’s Catholic Church Christmas Message will play- sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Hall, K&H Portable Toilets, AMA Home Care, and Kenjura Tile and Carpet.

Grace Lutheran Church’s program will at at 12:30 p.m.

At 1 p.m., St. John’s United Church of Christ Program will play- sponsored by Burton State Bank and St. John’s United Church of Christ.

First United Methodist Church Adult Program will play at 1:30 p.m., sponsored by Donald & Gwen Spiess and First United Methodist Church.

At 2:00 p.m., the St. Paul’s Christian Day School Christmas Program will play- sponsored by Computer Helpers and Kohring Monument Company.

The programming will conclude at 3 p.m. with the Grace Lutheran Church Program, sponsored by AMA Home Care and Fischer Tile.
