‘WE LOVE OUR TROOPS’ EVENT HAPPENING TODAY

  

Community members have a chance to donate food and toiletry items to military members today (Wednesday) during the “We Love Our Troops” event.

The collection event is happening at Brenham Nursing and Rehab from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Brenham Nursing and Rehab will accept the following items: granola bars, boxed raisins, Skittles, Strawberry Twizzlers, almonds, Peanuts, Starburst, cookies (without chocolate), beef jerky, powdered Gatorade packets, bar soap, liquid body soap, boxed Kleenex, deodorant, and toothpaste.

Brenham Nursing and Rehab will package and mail the items

KTEX’s Cactus Ken will be there broadcasting live from the Friendly Country Cruiser.
