KWHI HISTORY FLASHBACK TO FEATURE BELLVILLE FOOTBALL
As part of KWHI’s 70th anniversary, we are featuring a portion of a broadcast from years past every morning at 8:10- just before the Country Store. 
Today’s segment traces back to 1977.
During the time, KWHI not only covered Brenham High School football, but also games from neighboring towns.
The recording today features the Bellville Brahmas, who had just won their playoff game against the defending state champion team from Rockdale. Sports announcer Jim Austin interviews Bellville head coach Doyle Parker outside the locker room at Memorial Stadium.
The recording will be added to our website under the History tab later today along with numerous old photos and videos from past years at KWHI.
