BFD RESPONDS TO KOUNTRY BOYS SIGN FIRE SATURDAY NIGHT

  

The Brenham Fire Department released a statement this (Monday) morning that on Saturday night, at approximately 10:30, they responded to a call for a structure fire at Kountry Boys Restaurant.

While they were en route to the scene, fire fighters were advised by dispatch that only the sign was on fire just outside of the Restaurant.

When first responders arrived, they found the sign on fire, and “quickly extinguished the flames.”

Fire damage was reported to be limited to the sign itself only, and the electrical power was turned off to the sign.

The department reported that while two trucks originally were responding to the fire, one was cancelled when dispatched reported the fire was contained to the sign only.
