BLUEBONNET HOUSE AND GARDEN CENTER TO HOST 25TH ANNIVERSARY
Twenty five years ago it was just an old closed grocery store which had also served as a local watering hole that two people watched from their booth on Main Street during one of Chappell Hill’s festivals. At that time Bobby & Dale Ramey thought, "wouldn't it be great to give it life again". The rest of the story is filled with wonderful memories, fabulous friendships, a customer base that any company would be envious for and yes those blood.... sweat... and tears, but what treasures have come from The Bluebonnet House & Garden Center over the last twenty five years.
“It has been quite a partnership with so many hands of love, so many hugs of devotion and so many kisses of success have been granted to The Bluebonnet House and Garden Center and to Bobby and me,” stated Dale Ramey, owner of The Bluebonnet House. “With my husband of 50 years, his partnership and support has helped us through challenging economic times, business improvements, and business cultivation that has evolved into a business we are both proud of and so glad we established our roots in Chappell Hill,” stated Ramey.
We cherish our customers, many which have been with us since we opened that old glass door and keep coming back from not only Washington County but from Houston and beyond.
“The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce looks forward to celebrating this silver anniversary (25 years) of this downtown business and welcome everyone to our Business After Hours hosted by the Bluebonnet House & Garden Center on Thursday, June 8th from 5-7PM. ” stated John Wick, President of the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce.
