Austin County Sheriff Jack Brandes recognized and commended the dispatchers of Austin County for their professionalism and work ethic during the county-wide storm emergency on May 23, 2017.

The dispatchers have been awarded letters of commendation for outstanding performance.

Brandes remarked on their capability and willingness to adapt to a difficult situation during that time exemplifies dedication and commitment to duty, and on how each demonstrated great teamwork and responsiveness, and are valuable members of the Austin County Sheriff’s Office.
