BFD RESPONDS TO 2 CALLS ON WEDNESDAY

  

At approximately 1:40pm on Wednesday, the Brenham Fire Department responded to a call from the Brenham Courthouse about an individual being stuck in the elevator, however when they arrived, the individual had already managed to get out.

At 2:20 the same day, the Fire Department was called to the 2400 block of Old Masonic Road for a reported tree on fire, however when they arrived, they found the occupant of the residence to be burning brush in the ditch. The landowner had not called in the controlled burn.
