$1 MILLION IN CANDY SHAPED METH SIEZED IN HOUSTON
Police seized $1 million worth of meth that had been shaped into candy when responding to a burglary call on Monday in the Spring, Texas area.
Neighbors of the home reported the burglary, and when deputies stopped two suspects fleeing the area, they had filled the trunk of their vehicle so full that wouldn’t even close.
Arrested were Evonne Mick and David Salinas, the pair attempting to steal the drugs.
The meth had been shaped in to candy that resembled bows, Batman, and many other famous characters.
Lt. Ruben Diaz with Harris County Deputies Office remarked on the situation, calling it “very, very dangerous.” He added that they “wouldn’t even do in there unless suited up from head to toe with respirators because you don’t want to breathe that stuff.”
