MORRIS AMONG NOMINEES FOR “POSTSEASON MVP”

Voting is currently taking place for the second annual Texan Live Softball Postseason MVP – 5A.

Brenham Cubette pitcher Meg Morris is one of five players vying for the honor.

One candidate has been chosen from 11 of the Region III/5A playoff teams.  According to the Texan Live website, the players “stood out on their team, whether it was from overall performance, leadership, or simply coming through in the clutch.”

The other 10 candidates include: Casey Dixon, Willis; Hailey Pence, Dayton; Julia Vasquez, Galena Park; Roni Groffman, Kingwood Park; Kassidy Rhodes, Crosby; Meagan King, Barbers Hill; Alexis Uresti, Manvel; Rachel Agnello, Bryan; Shelbi Sunseri, Santa Fe and Hailey Hudson, College Station.
