MAN ARRESTED ON GUN/MARIJUANA CHARGES
An Austin-area man faces charges after a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
30-year old Alexander Thomas Ray of Cedar Park was pulled over in the 500 block of Highway 290 East around 1:00 a.m.
Officer Eddie Martinez says he could smell marijuana.
A search turned up a small amount of marijuana and a loaded pistol.
Rey was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail on charges of Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
