HARVEST WINE TRAIL THIS WEEKEND

There will be grape crushing and stomping, and lots of wine tasting this weekend along the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail.

Seven area wineries will be hosting the first weekend of their annual Harvest Wine Trail today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday).  The Bluebonnet Wine Trail winds from Plantersville and Montgomery through Chappell Hill, Brenham and Burton.  Each winery will be offering unique experiences this weekend, including tours, grape crushes and stomps, mystery dinners, and of course, wine tasting.

Wineries on the Bluebonnet Wine Trail include Bernhardt Winery in Plantersville, Cork This Winery in Montgomery, Messina Hof Winery in Bryan, Peach Creek Vineyards in College Station, Pleasant Hill Winery in Brenham, Saddlehorn Winery in Burton, and Texas Star Winery in Chappell Hill.  Tickets for the trail can be purchased at any of the wineries, and are good for use both this weekend and next weekend.  For more information visit texasbluebonnetwinetrail.com
