ONE PERSON KILLED IN BRAZOS CO. ACCIDENT
A driver is dead following a one-vehicle accident today (Monday) in Brazos County.
Authorities have confirmed the accident occurred just before noon on Highway 21 between Highway 6 and Coulter Airfield in Bryan.
The driver of the SUV has been pronounced dead on the scene in the 3600 block of Highway 21.
According to police, the driver of the SUV left the road and struck a telephone pole. The rain may have been a factor in the accident. No other vehicles were involved, and there was noone else in the SUV.
Traffic lanes are reduced in that area. Expect delays for most of the early afternoon hours.
