SHOP LOCAL FIRST EVENT THURSDAY IN CHAPPELL HILL

  

Local shoppers can get a head start on their Christmas shopping and hear some great live music Thursday evening.  The Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Chappell Hill Chamber are working together to kick off the 2017 “Shop Local First for the Holidays” campaign by featuring the businesses in the Chappell Hill area Thursday.  Participating shops in Chappell Hill will remain open until 8:00 PM. The Sauney Stand Band will be performing downtown Chappell Hill.

As an extra incentive, shoppers can pick up a “passport” at any one of the participating shops and by completing three different purchases, will be entered in a drawing to win a $100 cash prize. By shopping at additional events during the campaign, they can also be entered into the grand prize drawing at the end of November.  As part of the Chamber’s ongoing “Buy Local” awareness campaign, a series of extended-hour shopping events will be offered in October and November.
