PLANNED POWER OUTAGE TO AFFECT NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON CO.

  

A portion of northwestern Washington County will experience temporary power outages tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative crews will be upgrading power distribution lines in an area between Burton and Lake Somerville. Power will be interrupted to about 690 Bluebonnet members between 8:30 and 9:30 (tomorrow) Tuesday morning. The planned outage will affect members on or near FM 1948, Rehburg Road, FM 594, FM 390, Longpoint Road, FM 2780, Bredthauer Road, Wildflower Road and Christian Cemetery Road.

Bluebonnet says the upgrade will increase the voltage carried through the power lines. The upgrade is necessary to continue reliable service to the growing number of homes in northwestern Washington County.
