WASHINGTON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ELECTION

  

Ballots have been mailed out for the election of new Board members for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.

There are seven candidates on the ballot for the seven available positions on the Washington County Chamber of Commerce Board.  They include Melissa Duckworth of Germania Insurance, Wendy Frazier of Associated Credit Union of Texas, Andy Hefferly of Moorman Tate Haley Upchurch and Yates LLP, Zelda Moore of EdVance Academy of Beauty, Ash Patel of Best Western Inn, Hondo Power of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, and Jay Schroeder of Texas Farm Bureau Insurance.

Each business that is a Chamber member will receive a ballot to vote in the election.  They have the option of voting for all seven of the candidates, or writing in a name if they wish.  Ballots must be returned to the Chamber office no later than noon on October 31st.  The elected directors will serve a three year term beginning in January.
