BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL BAND AT UIL AREA COMPETITION

The Brenham High School Band will be traveling to Galena Park Saturday to compete in the UIL Area Marching Band Competition.  They will be competing against 36 5A bands from the Houston area.   The band advanced to the area round after receiving straight first division scores at the Region Marching Contest Tuesday.  The Cub Band performed their routine “Strange” for the judges at Waller ISD Stadium at Tuesday, receiving first division scores from all of them.

The Brenham Band is scheduled to perform in the preliminary round at 4:45 PM Saturday.  At the conclusion of the preliminary round, 10 bands will be selected to participate in the final round Saturday evening. From the 10 finalists, the top seven will qualify to compete in the Texas 5A state marching contest.
