ROUND TOP CHRISTMAS THIS WEEKEND
Christmas in Round Top gets underway Saturday with activities all day.
Entertainment will take place at Henkel Hall beginning at 11:00, with music from school choirs and bands.
There will be homemade stew served from 11:00 to 1:00, as well.
Activities on the Town Square include: music, cookies and hot chocolate in the courthouse.
The first-ever Round Top Lighted Christmas Parade begins at 6:00 on the Town Square, including live music, floats, animals, classic cars, vintage tractors, carolers and Santa Claus.
The Round Top Area Historical Society hosts its 20th annual Christmas Tour of Homes this weekend, as well.
There are five properties on the home tour, which is being held in conjunction with Christmas in Round Top, Saturday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Tickets are on sale at Round Top Real Estate on the Square in Round Top and are $15 per ticket. Tickets will also be sold behind the Round Top Post Office at 397 East Mill St. tomorrow (Saturday), starting at 10:30 a.m.
Some of the historical homes date back to the 1830s and some have been recently built. All are decorated in Christmas splendor.
