CASA FOR KIDS AT NEW LOCATION
CASA for Kids of South Central Texas has a new home in Brenham.
This Thursday, January 11th, CASA for Kids will hold an open house and ribbon cutting for their new location at 1500 South Day Street in Brenham. Visitors are welcome from 2 – 5 p.m. Thursday for a tour of the new facility and to enjoy refreshments. The official ribbon cutting will be at 3 p.m.
Deanna Warmke, Executive Director of Casa for Kids, says “This event offers a perfect opportunity for the community to learn who we are, what we do, and how they can support our mission of advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court through the training and support of community volunteers.” Warmke says the organization’s goal is 100% advocacy in court for all abused and neglected children. Texas CASA CEO Vicki Spriggs stated that no matter their age, no matter how long they have been in care, no matter how challenging their past, all children deserve a dedicated advocate who will maintain urgency for finding them a permanent home and forever family.
