FIRE DESTROYS HOME ON HODDEVILLE SCHOOL ROAD

A home was completely destroyed by fire early Monday morning northwest of Brenham.  Just after 3:00 AM, the Gay Hill and Berlin Volunteer Fire Departments were dispatched to the report of a structure fire in the 5200 block of Hoddeville School Road.  Firemen arrived at the scene to find a single family home completely engulfed in flames.  Gay Hill Fire Chief Donald Schroeder says that all of the family members made it out of the home, but the structure was a complete loss.  Firemen were at the scene until 5:30 this morning putting out the fire.
