HEMPSTEAD MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANTS

A Hempstead man is in custody after his arrest in Brenham on outstanding warrants.
Tuesday afternoon, Corporal Jonathan Phipps conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of Highway 290 East.
The driver, 38-year old Marion Eggleston of Hempstead, had three active warrants out of Nueces County.
Eggleston was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
