EARLY VOTING PACE PICKS UP THIS WEEK
Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel reports that the pace of early voting has picked up this week.
Yesterday (Tuesday) a total of 342 persons cast early ballots for the March 6th Primary Election. 302 voted in the Republican Primary, and 40 in the Democratic Primary. Through the first 8 days of early voting, 1980 people have cast ballots, compared to 1663 in the 2016 Presidential Primary. In the Republican Primary, the number of early ballots is up by 25%, or 359 persons, over the same period in 2016. This Friday will be the last day to vote early for the March 6th Primary.
