CITY COUNCIL MEETING CANCELED FOR THURSDAY

  

The City Council Meeting scheduled for Thursday has been canceled.  City Manager James Fisher says that the meeting has been canceled out of respect for the family of Council Member Charlie Pyle and the other council members.  Charlie Pyle suffer a heart attack early Friday morning at his place of business and is being treated in the ICU at College Station Medical Center.  The family says that doctors are running several tests and more will be known in the next 48 to 72 hours.  The Pyle family says they are grateful for the concern and ask for continued prayers for his healing but they are requesting no visitors at this time. They are also asking that any questions be directed to the City Manager’s Office at 979-337-7389.  The next scheduled City Council meeting is Thursday, March 22nd.
