PAIR ARRESTED AFTER THEFT AT WAL-MART

A Navasota man is in custody after his arrest on numerous charges in Brenham.
Saturday morning, just after 2:30, Corporal Jose Perez, responded to the local WalMart 200 block of Highway 290 West to a theft in progress.
The suspect, 23-year old Edgar Garza, of Navasota reportedly stole several items then fled on foot. He was eventually found and detained.

Garza was placed in custody for Evading Arrest Detention, Theft of Property with previous convictions and for an active warrant out of Brazos County for theft.
A woman with Garza, 27-year old Anna Zuniga of Brenham, also had an active warrant out of Grimes County for Possession of Controlled Substance.
Both were transported to the Washington County Jail.
