PARKS AND REC. BOARD MEETS WEDNESDAY AT JACKSON ST. PARK

  

The Brenham Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has moved the location of their next meeting to allow the public to see how the board operates.  The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:30 PM at the kitchen at Jackson Street Park.  Wednesday’s agenda will include a review of the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Master Plan. This item will be presented as a work session, and the city encourages all park patrons to attend and provide input.

Also on Wednesday’s agenda, the board will discuss Blinn College’s Use of Hohlt Park for their new soccer program which is scheduled to begin in the fall.  The board is also scheduled to get updates on the Blue Bell Aquatic Center and the Brenham Parks.

The Brenham Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meets this Wednesday at 5:30 PM at the kitchen at Jackson Street Park, 1300 South Jackson Street.
