CITY OF BELLVILLE LOOKING AT NEW POLICE STATION

The City of Bellville is eyeing the possibility of a new police station.

During a recent Bellville City Council meeting, a feasibility study for the police station was authorized.  Bellville currently leases a building for the police station at the corner of North Bell and Palm Streets.  The architectural firm of Brown, Reynolds Watford Architects will conduct a study to determine the building and facility improvements necessary.  They will look at the current building, other available buildings, and possible other sites for the police station.  The feasibility study is expected to take no more than 90 days, with a cost not to exceed $20,400.
