BISD FITNESS WALK NEXT THURSDAY

  

The 2018 Brenham ISD Fitness Walk is set for this Thursday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Cub Stadium.

The Fitness Walk is a family event designed to help Brenham ISD elementary students gain awareness of the importance of daily exercise by walking around the Cub Stadium track with a parent or guardian.

Elementary walkers who complete four laps around the track will be treated to Blue Bell Ice Cream and rewarded with a medal. All walkers will also receive credit for their elementary campus.

Alton, Brenham, and Krause Elementary schools have a friendly competition for the greatest percentage of students that participate.

Walkers will also enjoy face painting, compliments of Brenham High School HOSA, and a chance to visit a fire truck, thanks to the Brenham Fire Department.
