BRENHAM JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS COMPETE IN STATE HISTORY FAIR

Brenham Junior High students participated in the Texas State History Fair in Austin on April 28.  The Brenham students competed against students from across the entire state of Texas. They presented documentaries, exhibits, websites, historical papers and performances to explain the theme "Conflict and Compromise" in history.

Participating students from Brenham included Tyler Chambers, Brady Lawhorn, Madi Rogers, Kinsley Mendoza, Leah Hardy, Robin Aguilar, and Aidan Hord.   The students competed in the Regional History Fair at Washington on the Brazos State Park in February before advancing to the State competition.  Although they did not place in the State contest, they are congratulated for reaching that level.
