FOUR SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

An Humble man has been sentenced to four years in prison after Thursday’s edition of 21st District Court in Brenham.

47-year old William James White, of Humble, pleaded guilty to Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle – a Third Degree Felony.  He was sentenced to four years in prison for the incident that occurred in January of this year.

White was also sentenced to six months behind bars on three other charges: Burglary of a Building, Theft of Property and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Also sentenced this week in District Court:

20-year old Darius Alexander Toliver, of Brenham, was sentenced to four years in prison for Burglary of a Habitation.

Toliver was also fined $5,000 for the offense that occurred in December of 2016.

51-year old Danny Crone of Brenham had his probation revoked for a 2013 conviction for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Crone was sentenced to one year in State Jail and fined $1500.

And, 42-year old Sandy Heard, Jr. of Brenham was placed on eight years’ probation for a 2016 charge of Deadly Conduct/Discharge of a Firearm.

Heard must also serve 30 days in the Washington County Jail and ordered to perform 100 hours of Community Service restitution.  He was also ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment and anger management classes.
