KWHI INTRODUCES NEW NEWS DIRECTOR – JOSH BLASCHKE

  

KWHI President and General Manager, Tom Whitehead, would like to welcome our newest member to the news team.

Joshua Blaschke has joined the team as the station’s News Director.  Blaschke graduated from Sam Houston State University earlier this May, with a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication.  He was a contributing writer for the Houstonian school newspaper, anchored and produced several TV newscasts for the broadcasting program, and was also part of the broadcast crew for Bearkat sporting events.

He is looking forward to contributing to the station, and is eager to learn more about the cities of the area and their traditions.

Blaschke comes from Hallettsville from a family of two, and his father, Scott, has worked for Blue Bell for 23 years.
