CHARITY ART SALE TO BE HELD IN SOMERVILLE SATURDAY
One by One Animal Rescue in Somerville is hoping to raise funding and attention to their organization with a charity art sale this Saturday, from 9 AM till noon.
Over 50 paintings by Texas artists will be on sale at the Somerville Farm and Ranch feed store, located at 18209 Texas 36. Many of the artists will be on site to meet with potential buyers.
The organization recently received official nonprofit status, but they are still looking for all the help they can get. Brenda Knoll, registered agent of One by One, says there’s a lot of misconceptions regarding how nonprofit organizations work.
Knoll is optimistic about the event this weekend, saying the group of artists contributing is a “wonderful group of people."
