TESTING FOR MOLD AT CMS COMES BACK NEGATIVE

Following teacher complaints of possible mold at Caldwell Middle School, the school was tested twice and no mold was found.

The results of the second test, held on January 23, were released last week.  The first test was conducted on May 8, 2017.

Caldwell ISD superintendent Andrew Peters said two teachers were concerned about potential mold at the school, because they were experiencing headaches and other symptoms when in their classrooms.

He said that the school previously had an “old water line” break, but the district’s maintenance department fixed it.  According to Peters, the water line was not a sewer line.
