PUTT 2 CURE MS, TONIGHT

A local fundraiser to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis is set for tonight.

The annual Putt to Cure MS Mini-Golf Tournament will begin at 6:30 tonight at Horseshoe Junction in Brenham.

Tournament organizer Michael Brinkmeyer says all the funds collected will go to the national MS Association.

The event features teams of up to four people, with a pre-registration fee of $100 per team.  The entry fee at the event is $125.

Brinkmeyer says there will be some special features you won’t find at your usual golf tourney, such as special caddies who will help you improve your score and sabotage your opponents.

There will also be chicken wings and egg rolls served to the golfers while on the course.

Blake Hickerson will be broadcasting tonight from the Friendly Country Cruiser.  Blake and Craig will team up to represent KWHI in the Media Challenge against Troy and Holly of KTEX-106.
