BLINN TO HOST ADVANCED QUICKBOOKS COURSE
The Blinn College Small Business Development Center will be hosting an advanced QuickBooks course in July.
The course is designed to teach small business owners to get the most from their accounting software.
This hands-on workshop will take place Thursday, July 19th, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and is designed for those who have completed the basic course or already have experience using QuickBooks. Students should be familiar with Windows on a personal computer. The course will not teach the online version of QuickBooks.
Topics include customer job lists, estimates, progress invoices, job costing, billing for time and costs, customizing invoices, payroll, budgets, multiple sales tax items, inventory adjustments, and memorized transactions.
The workshop will be held at the A.W. Hodde, Jr. Technical Education Center, located at 2910 South Blue Bell Road in Brenham. Registration is $100 and available at www.blinn.edu/sbdc. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
