BISD ADMINISTRATOR SELECTED FOR EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM

  

Brenham ISD’s director of special programs has been chosen to attend this year’s Emerging Leaders Program.

Lori Ruiz-Wamble was selected by the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT) Board of Directors, as one of only 12 participants.

The ELP program offers participants the opportunity to increase their effectiveness with school leaders, parents, students, and the community, in order to benefit the development of Gifted and Talented students.  Participants will also be able to connect with mentors across the state.

Ruiz-Wamble will attend the TAGT giftED18 Conference in Fort Worth this November, as well as next April’s Leadership Conference in Plano.  She will also take part in monthly online training and meetings throughout the school year.
