TWO ARRESTED ON WARRANTS IN BRENHAM

Brenham Police made a pair of arrests on outstanding warrants, Tuesday evening.
Around 6:15 p.m., Officer Jason Kasprowicz conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Church Street. Police found the driver, 60-year-old Charles Emmitt Lewis of Brenham, to have an active warrant out of Washington County for Forgery. Lewis was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Also last (Tuesday) night, around 7:15 p.m., Corporal Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of West Main Street. Investigation determined that the driver, 31-year-old James McDonald of Brenham, had two active warrants out of Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1. McDonald was also placed in custody and taken to the Washington County Jail.
