SECOND TEENAGER ARRESTED IN RICHARDS SHOOTING CASE
A second teenager has been arrested related to a shooting in Grimes County that occurred in early June.
According to Lieutenant Daniel Wagnon, a 15-year-old has been charged with two counts of theft of a firearm. Reports say those guns were used in the shooting of a 16-year-old in the Richards community.
17-year-old Raul Garcia Jr. is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Investigators say Garcia shot the 16-year-old in the face, while playing a social media game called “you lackin’.”
The suspect is in custody at the Brazos County Juvenile Detention Facility. Names of the 16-year-old victim and 15-year-old theft suspect are not being released.
